So, you want to know how to use custom Team Fortress 2 scripts? Well, I’m going to show you how!

First step, you want download the script and install it to the correct location. Below is a screenshot of how I have my scripts setup. Where “your steam account” is located in address bar, that is the place holder for your steam account name you use for logging in.

Once you have located your directory. Install your custom script file but inserting it into the cfg folder. Then onto the next step…

Once you open Team Fortress 2, you are going to need to open your console (~) and execute the script file. All that’s needed is to type the following: “exec scriptname.cfg”. The image below is an example of how to do it.

As you can see, I have a notice letting me know it’s been successfully executed. That’s all, simple right?
